We pride ourselves on our inclusivity and welcome anyone to come give Gaelic Football a try!

As a member of Men’s Gaelic Football, you will not only be part of a successful sports team but part of a wider community involving all nationalities in Dundee with plenty of social events to suit everyone including our County Colours night, Santa Suits Pub Crawl, Annual Dinner Dance, Quizzes and much more.

Gaelic Football is a team sport involving two 15-player teams. The objective is to score goals and points by either kicking or hand-passing into the opposition net or over the crossbar between the upright posts. Skills involve a combination of carrying, bouncing, kicking, hand-passing, and soloing. As a team, we train twice a week starting with our give it a go session in October and progress up to playing full 15-a-side matches throughout the year against other Scottish universities.

Men’s Gaelic Football at Dundee have experienced some success in recent years having previously reached the final of BUCS British Championships, and with a young team, we hope to go one step further this year.
