DUBC is a club for its members. We row together, we train together, we socialise together. Last year, 2017/18, we won the Sports Union Club of the Year and some more of our silverware consisted of three Golds at Scottish Student Sport Head in Inverness. We attend all of the main Scottish head races and the early regattas are becoming more popular for DUBC to participate in. We start with our Give it a Go sessions at Inchyra near Perth to show you what we’re all about. If you’ve never rowed before you’ll be taught by our student coaches, one of whom is award winning, who run indoor rowing and strength training, and all of the water sessions. Most of the club had never rowed before they came to uni, and now can’t stop. If you’ve rowed before you’ll train with our strong senior squads. We are becoming a more competitive club but if competition isn’t for you we have fun social sessions once a week too. Or if you are small, chatty and fancy being part of the team- Coxing could be for you!

A social membership with DUBC is also an option if you still want to be a part of the family but not necessarily row. Through attending our notorious socials, like Pub Row, Super Saturday, and our Annual Ceilidh, you feel just as part of the team as everyone else.

Whether you want to be a casual member who just learns to row and have a good time, trains hard and gets those big wins, or just come for the social aspect, we want to see you. Check out our Facebook page and Instagram, say hi at the Sports Fair, or just send us a message. DUBC is a fantastic team to be a part of, so come and give us a go.
