Rowing with Dundee University Boat Club offers a number of exciting opportunities for you to make the most out of your student experience. Whether you have previously rowed before or come to the club as a complete beginner to the sport, you can rest assured that you will fit in! We represent students of all capabilities and creeds, for which we provide an ambitious training schedule to develop your fitness both on and off the water.

The Boat Club has enjoyed phenomenal growth in recent years through consecutive Club of the Year recognition from the University Sports Union, accolades from Scottish Rowing and winning a student trophy at the Scottish Indoor Rowing Championships. Our student-led committee is committed to expanding access to the sport and improving the experience of all members. In joining our club, you are able to cater to what you wish to get out of the year and will be fully supported by our Captains and student coaches through a variety of training and competitive settings. In 2019, our women’s squad was represented at Henley Women’s Regatta for which the development coxed four became finalists of the world-famous competition.

But we’re not just all about the training! Our club boasts a fantastic social calendar for members to escape the demands of courses and make friends for life across subjects and disciplines which you otherwise may not cross over with.

The Boat Club will endeavour to provide you with the best possible sporting experience of clubs in the university. So, to find out more about rowing at Dundee, make sure to contact us through one of our social media platforms.
