We are Dundee University Dance Club!
Whether you are a beginner or an advanced dancer we have something for everyone. With over 130 members, we are one of the largest and most successful sports clubs within the University and we provide opportunities for all students, to continue dancing.
We hold an annual show in the Whitehall theatre, with show dances in a variety of styles, Jazz, Tap Lyrical, Ballet, Heels, Contemporary and Hip Hop. The show is a great way to make new friends and dance on a semi-regular basis!
We also have competitive teams and compete around the UK in Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical and Hip Hop. The competition teams are ideal for those who want to continue to dance at a competitive level and have time to commit to dance.
For those who want to have a more flexible approach to dance, we offer weekly one-off classes in various styles and a technique class, where you can brush up on your skills or learn new ones.
At DUDC, we love a social event! We hold weekly socials as well as bigger events such as the Winter Ball and Family Night. You can gain exclusive benefits through our sponsors too.
There are lots of exciting fundraisers, events, and opportunities to get involved with and joining DUDC is one of the best ways to make lifelong friends while at university.
