Men's Rugby (Sports Union)
Dundee Mens Rugby is a club that is open to players of all abilities.
Many of our players have had an interest in rugby all of their lives, as well as many only taking up the sport at university level and progressing quickly. We field 3 teams on a weekly basis, giving players many opportunities to compete against other Universities. With the recent addition of a knowledgeable and dedicated coaching team, we feel we are strong competitors in the BUCS leagues at all levels.
The DURFC pride themselves both on and off the pitch with a great club mentality and strong social bond between members. Many strong friendships are made through the club, and we are open to new members joining at any point throughout the season.
Recently the club had 2 members playing at international level abroad for Turkey and The Cayman Islands, alongside 2 of our previous members getting invited into the Scottish Universities training squad. Our 1st XV are also the BUCS National Trophy Champions 2023.
